Belarus and Syria sign cooperation agreements

Belarus and Syria will be more active in developing economic cooperation. Logistics for bilateral trade have been worked out. This was stated in Damascus during the meetings between the Belarusian delegation and the Syrian government. Joint documents were signed as a result. Among them is the facilitation of bilateral trade. The document addresses simplification of customs procedures and organization of the road traffic system. Humanitarian cooperation also continues. Next year, Belarus will host 225 children from Syria for recuperation. About a thousand of them visited Belarus in the past five years.
