Belarus and Russia plan to reach record trade turnover by the end of the year

Today Belarus maintains trade relations with 80 regions of Russia. With 69 of them over 8 months there is a positive trend. At the end of the year, a record of $55 billion is expected in total trade. This was stated by the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoy. In one segment alone – mechanical engineering – we managed to replace 15% of imported parts and components within a year. And today it is necessary to occupy empty niches. The legal formalization of such a concept as a union product is also important. Today, in a common union product – a combine harvester, a tractor, a dump truck or a car – it is difficult to determine only the Belarusian or only the Russian component; often there is parity – 50% of parts, components and raw materials.
