Belarus and Kyrgyzstan are ready to increase trade
Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have similar approaches to addressing many topical issues both on the bilateral track and within the framework of integration platforms and the international agenda. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko at a meeting with Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev on the margins of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kazakhstan. In the first 11 months of 2024, the trade turnover between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan increased to the level of 2023 and has already exceeded $160 mln. According to Roman Golovchenko, it is quite realistic to bring the trade turnover to $500 mln in the next five years.
