Belarus and Egypt are developing cooperation
Egypt is one of Belarus' key partners in Africa and the Middle East. The relationship has always developed in the spirit of friendship, respect, and mutual trust. Belarus Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko stated this at a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart. A delegation of the Belarusian government is on an official visit to Cairo. The impetus for the development of relations with this country was given by the visit of the President of Belarus to Cairo in 2020. Now they are waiting in Belarus for the President of Egypt. All conditions have been created for successful trading. There are also working groups in industry and agriculture. Today at the meeting the parties discussed the creation of grain and feed hubs in Egypt using Belarusian technologies. The parties signed a number of agreements: on trade promotion, interaction between financial departments and free economic zones of Belarus and the Egyptian Investment Authority.
