Beekeepers harvesting honey
11.07.2024
The honey harvesting season is in full swing. About 50 tons are to be brought in Minsk region alone. The next harvesting season will begin in September, and its completion will depend on the weather. For the most part, beekeeping in the region is migratory. During the season hives are transported to areas with blooming plants. Each forestry has 2-5 platforms, each of which can transport from 10 to 25 hives. In early July these are transported to linden groves to get linden honey, and in August hives are brought close to buckwheat fields, which are also abundant in Belarus.
