Automated price analysis and control system to be set up in Belarus by year-end
An automated price analysis and control system will be set up in Belarus by the end of the year. The system will be used by the government audit bodies, including Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, which will be using it to control and forecast inflation. Others agencies will be employing the service to monitor compliance with price-related legislation. The government will get an effective, operational tool to control the objectiveness of pricing across retail chains in Belarus. The developer and operator of the platform will be a subsidiary of the Development Bank, the Agency for Servicization and Reengineering. Before the launch of the system some adjustment of the legal framework is needed, as well as the unification of a significant number of information systems of various government agencies into a single database.
