At least 9,1 million tons of grain to be harvested this year in Belarus

There are plans to harvest about 5.2 million tons of of sugar and to load all domestic processing plants. The rapeseed harvest is expected to be at least 1.150 million tons. The Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus spoke about the plans for the harvest. According to Sergei Bartosh, now the most important thing is to provide animal husbandry with fodder: 32 centners of fodder units per head is a prerequisite for both preserving the herd and increasing the volume of milk and meat production. Agricultural organizations use 80 thousand agricultural machines and equipment to carry out spring field work. All equipment is 95% ready. Mobile repair units have also been created to quickly eliminate breakdowns.
