Anniversary 10th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia

Mutual trade between Belarus and Russia is gaining momentum this year. The growth is about 20% compared to last year. The regions make a significant contribution to strengthening economic ties. This was noted at the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, which was officially opened today in Russian Ufa. The Forum is held annually under the patronage of the Presidents. The parliaments of the two countries are its constant participants, which allows to directly ask the business what adjustments it expects from legislators. In general, the role of business in solving urgent economic problems is growing. The sanctions determine the key areas of joint work – Import substitution, cooperation in industry. Prospects were discussed today at the Forum of Regions. Judging by the Union State development figures, this work is already yielding results. The Forum of Regions annually results in dozens of cooperation agreements. Today, the signing of new documents has started. It is expected that the parties will also conclude an impressive number of contracts. According to preliminary estimates, the total amount will exceed last year's figures.
