According to government, most important tasks in the country's development solved
The government has managed to solve the most important tasks of socio-economic development set by the President. This was stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko at a meeting of the Council of Ministers today. The government discussed the performance of the economy last year and the start of 2024. One of the key issues is the growth of people's welfare. Real incomes have grown by almost 6.5%, thanks to low inflation. Measures were taken in the real sector of the economy to pull up the lagging wages, where they are lower than the industry average. As a result, more than 85% of organizations have reached the required parameters. The balance of foreign trade last year is positive. It has slightly decreased compared to 2022, but the reasons are objective: it is the fall in export prices by more than 15% and the 1.5 times growth of investment imports. As a result, 1 billion 600 million direct investments have been attracted, of which 75% in the real sector.
