Economic development with a focus on the environment. A workshop for processing car tyres and producing polymer-rubber products was opened in Chechersk district. The new facility will make it possible to solve a number of important tasks. One of them is that Gomel region will reach a qualitatively new level of waste management. Worn-out tyres, which is waste of the third class of danger, will be recycled without harming the environment. In addition, they will be used to extract components that are in demand in various sectors of the economy. In fact, it is a waste-free production. It is planned to implement more than 100 projects and create over 6.500 jobs in the Gomel region over the five-year period.
