A million tons of rapeseed ripens in the fields of Belarus

A million tons of rapeseed is planned to be harvested by Belarusian farmers this year. More than 400 thousand hectares have been allocated for cultivation. One fifth of this volume ripens in the fields of the Minsk region. Today, rapeseed is one of the most profitable and useful agricultural crops in the agro-industrial complex. These are oil, protein, honey collection, raw materials for biofuels, as well as an ideal "partner" in the field for any crops. Among the popular varieties of Belarusian selection are Medey, Fedor, Imperial. The newcomer, the Severin variety, has also become a favorite among farmers. They are tested on the fields of the Research and Production Center of the Academy of Sciences for Agriculture.
