Export of products from Vitebsk region to African countries will increase almost 8 times by the end of 2024. This was announced at a meeting of the leadership of Vitebsk region with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burundi to Russia and Belarus Joseph Nkurunziza. The head of the diplomatic mission visited the northern region of the country for the first time. He was introduced to the history and culture of the Vitebsk region, as well as told about various areas of economic activity. In addition, possible cooperation options were discussed. The priority is the development of trade and economic relations.
