A ceremony of handing over Belarusian agricultural machinery to Zimbabwean agrarians took place today
16.04.2025
Despite the sanctions, almost two hundred Belarusian tractors and combines have reached southern Africa. And this is only the first batch, which was delivered as part of the third phase of the agricultural mechanisation programme. It is personally patronised by the heads of the two states. Soon the Belarusian machines will go to the Zimbabwean fields across the country. Thus, Belarus provides substantial support to Zimbabwe in the development of the agro-industrial complex. And there are already significant results. This, among other things, was discussed at today's meeting with the President of Zimbabwe. Emmerson Mnangagwa received the Belarusian delegation. The parties discussed the agreements reached earlier and identified new areas of cooperation.
