2024 budget passes "zero reading"

Social orientation is the priority of the 2024 budget. This was stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko during a meeting with deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic. The "zero reading" of the bill was held in the Oval Hall. It is planned to increase consolidated budget expenditures on education by 13.8% (total BYN11.8 billion), healthcare by 11.6% (BYN11.6 billion) and wages. The labor remuneration fund will increase by 12.4% and amount to BYN26.2 bln. Timely fulfillment of all obligations to repay the national debt will be ensured, budget support for exporters will be increased by 20%.
