152 million rubles earned by the population on vegetables and berries

Harvesting of vegetables and berries is actively carried out in Belarus. For six months, Belarusian consumer cooperation organizations have already purchased products worth 236 million rubles. More than 65 percent, which is 152 million, were paid to the population. 760 receiving and procurement points, about 4 thousand shops in rural areas, 860 farmers are involved in mass procurement. Purchased products are sold through the distribution network and public catering. Some are sent to enterprises and exported. People can sell vegetables, berries and mushrooms independently. There are 108 agricultural markets in Belarus.
