Minsk hosts the meeting of the Commission of the European Olympic Committees for the Olympic Games. It is attended by representatives of ten countries. They discuss the most problematic topics related to preparation for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and the Winter Olympics 2018 in Pyeongchang. Among the issues discussed were cash payments for the winners of Olympiads in different countries, social support programs for athletes who have completed their careers and the problem of illicit drug use.
