Athletes competed to see who could climb the course the fastest. More than 100 participants gathered at the new outdoor climbing wall. They all note that climbing demands precision, endurance and split-second reactions, and that in speed competitions, every second counts. The sport fosters mutual support, respect and a shared drive toward a common goal. Participants from Smolensk emphasized that the sport unites people of different ages, professions, and interests, hailing from various cities and countries.
