Daria Domracheva announces retirement from biathlon

The best Belarusian biathlete, four-time Olympic champion Daria Domracheva has officially announced the end of her active sports career. In total, the biathlon star graced the podium 81 times in personal races: she won 34 gold, 23 silver and 24 bronze medals. In 2015, Daria became the best at the World Cup, winning the grand prize – the Big Crystal Globe. The Olympic awards form the second list of medals. Daria Domracheva reached the pinnacle of her career in Sochi, where the Belarusian biathlon star won three gold medals. She clinched her fourth Olympic gold in Pyeongchang. Daria Domracheva was awarded the Hero of Belarus title for outstanding achievements.
