Today is the World Consumer Rights Day. In Belarus, it is themed around assistance to those who choose online stores for shopping, and the number of such people grows every day. Last year alone, their number increased by 20 percent. Now in Belarus there are more than 19 thousand online stores, and their trade over 8 years has grown more than 30 times. Belarusians shop in foreign online stores too. Therefore, the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has advocated the creation in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union of a single consumer protection mechanism in the field of online commerce.
