Week of Belarusian cuisine takes place in Minsk. In 60 restaurants and cafes, visitors will be offered a choice of five dishes of national cuisine. The principle is a single recipe and price regardless of the type and class of the catering object. This is done to attract the attention of citizens and guests of the capital to the dishes of the Belarusian cuisine, promoting national culinary traditions. This time, guests are offered zhurek soup with meat, Zhuraviny salad, stuffed Belarusian pork with potato slices, buckwheat pancakes with mushrooms, dandelions in honey-and-cranberry dressing. As a rule, after a gastronomic festival, the most popular dishes make their way onto the main menu.
