Today the intergovernmental agreement between Belarus and China on mutual visa-free regime comes into effect. The document was signed in Qingdao on June 10 during the visit of the President of Belarus to China. Now, citizens of Belarus will be able to stay in China without a visa for up to 30 days, and Chinese citizens are also free to visit our country. In general, Belarusians are allowed to stay up to 90 days in the PRC within one calendar year. Visa-free travel extends to private, business and sports trips. The visa will still have to be obtained for studies and work. As it was noted by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China Cui Qiming, border guards of Belarus and China actively contribute to the implementation of this agreement.
