More than 59,000 foreigners have taken the opportunity to visit Belarus since the beginning of the visa-free regime. This entry procedure for residents of Lithuania and Latvia has been introduced since April 15. For residents of the Baltic countries, this is an opportunity to visit relatives in Belarus without unnecessary paperwork, make purchases, receive qualified assistance in medical institutions and relax in Belarusian health resorts. For example, in the Lepel military sanatorium, the number of tourists from Lithuania and Latvia doubled over a month and a half. In addition, from June 1, the Vitebsk region lifted the ban on the export of products to Lithuania and Latvia.
