The new academic year has started in Belarus" Armed Forces. After taking the oath, the recruits have begun studying military science with a focus on preparing small units for fulfilling tasks independently. The military will practice carrying out a wide range of tasks from fighting in the night time to combat missions in an urban environment. The main event of the academic year will be the joint Belarusian-Russian exercise West 2017 to be held in Belarus in September.
