A single mediation institution might be launched in the Eurasian Economic Union in the long term, as stated by Belarus" Minister of Justice Oleg Slizhevsky.Mediation in justice is an alternative method of dispute resolution, which allows finding a mutually beneficial solution confidentially without appealing to court. This topic and its development in the Eurasian Union are being discussed at a conference currently hosted by Moscow.In Belarus, the law on mediation originally defines civil, family and labour relations as its main application spheres.
