The parliamentary election campaign is currently continuing inBelarus, the formation of district election commissions coming to an end.According to the latest data, election commissions have received 84 sets of documents on the nomination of candidates for the House of Representatives of Belarus" National Assembly of the sixth convocation. The majority of the sets, which is 22, have been received by theMogilevregion"s election commissions. The election commissions of theVitebskregion have received only 2 document sets. As announced by the Central Election Commission, a total of 63 candidates have been nominated. The figure is likely to increase significantly in the near future when the election commissions receive documents from political parties and numerous initiative groups.The registration of candidates will take place from 2 to 11 August.
