Receiving refugee status in Belarus will become easier next year. This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at a press conference on Refugee Day. Today it is celebrated throughout the world. Last year alone, the number of internally displaced people in the world increased by 10% and reached a 65 million people. They run mostly from Syria, almost 5 million people. Internally displaced people arrive in our country as well. The Foreign Ministry noted that the flow of migrants this year remains high. The UN is also planning to conduct a study on the attitude of the Belarusians to refugees. The results will be known next year.
