A cyclone has brought heavy winter weather to Belarus - gusty wind and sleet. Because of the snow, about a hundred small towns in the country have been de-energized. Vitebsk and Brest regions have suffered from sleet the most. The snow record has been beaten in Vitebsk: the height of the white cover is 16 centimeters in the regional center. Despite the heavy snowfall, Minsk National Airport is operating normally. Only 2 flights from Moscow have been detained. The orange danger level remains. Tomorrow night the temperature minus 14 is expected.
