Official events dedicated to Victory Day have launched today in Belarus with a total of about 1,000 thematic meetings to be held across the country. The central event - the patriotic campaign Belarus Remembers - will be held on 9 May in the Victory Square in Minsk.Today, the Palace of the Republic has hosted a solemn meeting and a concert. In the first half of the day, the Commonwealth Square hosted a ceremony in memory of Kazakhstan citizens who fought for the liberation of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War.
