The CSTO Unbreakable Brotherhood peacekeeping exercise in the Brest region will feature over 1,000 officers and soldiers from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan. The military are supposed to out methods for providing humanitarian assistance to the population and fighting against illegal military groups.The exercise, which is due to run till 27 August, is planned to be attended by representatives of the United Nations Secretariat and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
