Use of UAVs discussed in Belarus' Ministry of Defense

The application of unmanned aerial vehicles in the Armed Forces of Belarus was discussed the day before at the Ministry of Defense. During the meeting, the military, together with representatives of the State Committee for Defense Industry, defined not only the order, but also the specific dates for equipping the Armed Forces with drones. It was decided that paratroopers, motorized riflemen, artillerymen, rocketmen and radio electronic warfare troops would be first to get UAVs. Also, the army officials developed a specific set of measures that will ensure efficient operation of aerial reconnaissance with the use of UAVs.
