Updated Code of Administrative Offenses and Procedural and Executive Code enter into force in Belarus

As of today, two updated codes come into force – "On Administrative Offenses" and "Procedural and Executive Code". Innovation is not about punishment, but about protection. When considering, the opinion of people and world experience were taken into account. The new Code of Administrative Offenses is the first stage in improving legislation. The second stage will be amendments to the Criminal Code. The work is already at the final stage. Some articles that were formal in nature will disappear. An article will appear for extremism, repeated violation of the procedure for holding mass events, illegal collection and distribution of personal data.
