A patient with a congenial heart disorder had her pulmonary artery valve replaced with a minimal invasion – without body cuts. Such an operation was held for the first time. Before the operation, the patient felt weakness, labored breathing, as a part of her heart stopped fulfilling its function. Operation lasted about two and a half hours. At present, the patient feels good. In total, about a thousand operations on correction of the congenial heart disorder are conducted at the National child surgery center yearly. More than a half of them are held with minimal invasion method.
