Trade union organisations of Vitebsk, Pskov, Smolensk and Novgorod obllasts have signed a cooperation agreement. The document provides for a joint action programme for the next 3 years. The trade unions intend to cooperate in human rights activities, to exchange work experience, to hold joint cultural, sports and health-improving events. Another important direction is the creation of an association of trade unions of the border regions of Belarus and Russia. The trade union leaders expressed confidence in further fruitful joint activities and implementation of common initiatives and projects.
