Today is
Knowledge Day in
Belarus. The President
congratulated students, postgraduates,
teachers and scientific
and pedagogical staff on the holiday. On 1 September,
2025, 1.050.000
students will start studying.
The first bell will ring
for more
than 90.000 first-graders, each
of whom, according to tradition, will receive a printed
edition from the President
of Belarus as a gift.
There will be 3.600
institutions in the country
that implement pre-school education
programs, and 2.629 institutions
of general secondary education.
17 of
them are
institutions of the Ministry of
Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry
of Culture and other
departments. Private institutions
will also operate —
there are six of them.
This academic
year, 7
modern schools will open. Among
them are those that
have undergone reconstruction — together
they are ready to accept
more than 5.000 students.
