Today is International Day of liberation of Nazi concentration camps

Today is the International Day of the liberation of Nazi concentration camps. The day before, an improvement campaign was held in Trostenets. Representatives of the Orthodox Church, administration of the Minsk region and young people gathered here. Trostenets became a symbol of the innocent victims of fascism, as during the WWII it was the place of mass killing of concentration camps prisoners. About 150 thousand people were killed here. Soon this place will become part of a large memorial complex. The project is now in the pipelines. Construction work is to begin already this year.
