Today Belarus marks Day of Motorized Infantry

Day of motorized infantry is celebrated in Belarus today. The holiday is dedicated to the outstanding merits and heroic feat of mechanized, rifle, and motorized infantry formations and military units during the Great Patriotic War. The liberation of any city was impossible without infantry, which is the basis of this kind of troops intended for full-scale combat operations. Motorized rifles are the backbone of every army, they perform most of the combat missions in major armed conflicts.
