Thunderstorms, heavy rains and squally winds are in the forecast

The orange danger level has been declared in Belarus. Thunderstorms, heavy rains, and squally winds of up to 20 m/s are expected throughout the country. Weather forecasters say that unfavorable and dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena will cover Brest, Grodno and Vitebsk. The Ministry for Emergency Situations warns that such forecasts also suggest danger factors such as power outages, collapse of structures, flooding of separate areas, wind can pull out trees, and poor visibility on roads. The air temperature at night will be 12-18°C above zero, during the day — from +20°C in the west, to 29°C heat in the south-east.
