The campaign is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the defense of Mogilev from the Nazi invaders. A young pine tree was brought from the Brest Fortress. Patriots of Belarus and Russia planted it on the complex's grounds and watered it with water from the Mukhavets River. Historians compare the defense of Mogilev to the defense of the Brest Fortress. The regional capital held off the enemy for 23 days. Participants laid flowers at the chapel on Buinichi Field and honored the heroes' memory with a moment of silence.
