On the National Remembrance Day of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, the heads of law enforcement agencies, as well as members of the Ministry of Defense, laid flowers at the monument on Victory Square in Minsk. The event was attended by the State Secretary of the Security Council, Aleksandr Volfovich, and the Minister of Defense of Belarus, Viktor Khrenin. The participants of the ceremony honored the memory of the fallen Soviet soldiers and partisans who fought against the German fascist occupiers on the Belarusian land with a minute of silence.
