The referendum on the Constitution of Belarus will be held on February 27

The date of the referendum on the Constitution has been set in Belarus – 27 February. The corresponding decree was signed by the President. The document defines the wording of the question submitted to the referendum, which is reproduced verbatim in the voting ballot: "Do you accept amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus?". The innovations submitted to the referendum are attached to the decree. Taking into account the requirements established by the Electoral Code, the binding legal force of the decision adopted by the referendum is fixed. The procedure for the entry into force of such a decision is determined: 10 days after its official publication. It is also established that the decision adopted by the referendum is an integral part of the Constitution.
