The President of Belarus visited one of the units of the Interior Ministry

On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Interior Ministry troops formation the President of Belarus visited military unit 5448 in Minsk. The head of state got acquainted with the living conditions of employees, visited the barracks and the canteen. Even in peacetime the role of internal troops is great, the President said. They help ensure public order and security, protect important state facilities and special cargoes. Talking about the forthcoming sowing campaign Alexander Lukashenko reminded that good harvest depends on discipline. The head of state also shared his impressions on the successful performance of the Belarusian athletes at Paralympics in Pyeongchang. These people are doing miracles, the President said.
