The new budget of the subsistence minimum

A number of changes in the social sphere have come into force in Belarus since August 1. The budget of the subsistence minimum on average per capita is 283 rubles 46 kopecks. This is plus 3.7% to the previous amount. The budget traditionally pulls up other surcharges. The amount of the allowance for caring for a child under the age of three is increasing. The changes also affected the allowances of pensioners. Those who have reached the age of 75 will receive 53 rubles, 80 years – almost 71 rubles.
