The military is practicing maneuver defense at Zapad-2017

The active phase of the Zapad-2017 army exercise continues. Today, the military is practicing maneuver defense. At the «Borisovsky» training ground, the Belarusian and Russian army units practice in a defensive battle with the support of artillery and aviation. At the "Lepelsky" training ground, a shooting range was organized. At the "Osipovichsky" training ground the soldiers are conducting a defensive battle and a counterattack. The special operations forces with the support of aviation work out airborne landing. New and modernized weapons and military equipment are being tested at Zapad-2017.
