The legislative framework for a single voting day has been created in Belarus

As Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko stated in an interview with the “Conversation with the President” program, all the necessary legal framework for a single voting day and the formation of the All-Belarusian People's Congress has already been created.One of the main areas of work of parliamentarians was to bring national legislation into compliance with the updated Constitution. According to the speaker of the lower house, 88 laws needed to be amended. To date, this work has been carried out according to 79 laws. There are still 9 laws left to be brought into compliance, 5 of them are currently in the House of Representatives, 4 will be submitted in the near future. Thus, as Vladimir Andreichenko informed, all the necessary legislative framework has been created for holding a single voting day in 2024 and forming the All-Belarusian People's Congress.
