Masterpieces of the world book heritage were delivered to Minsk by flight from Frankfurt. The original of the «The Iliad» by Homer, as well as other works, will be presented for the first time in the National Library of Belarus. About a hundred copies are delivered to Belarus in several installments from different continents following negotiations, which lasted more than a year. The most valuable editions, worth several million euros, are already in Minsk. They can be seen at the exhibition «Belarus and Bible», which opens on Thursday and will last twice as long as usual, a whole month. After Minsk part of the collection will travel to St. Petersburg's Hermitage.
