The first Belarusian Philosophical Congress in Minsk

Minsk hosted the first Belarusian Philosophical Congress. It gathered 500 scientists from different countries and became one of the largest forums of the Year of Science in Belarus. Scientists from all over the world gathered in Minsk for three days to discuss topical issues of our time – the global crisis, the interaction of political institutions and the role of philosophy in the development of society. A common opinion is that the open dialogue helped to determine the promising areas of international scientific cooperation.
