The "Commonwealth Tourism Capitals" programme will be launched in the CIS

The interstate program "Commonwealth Tourism Capitals" is planned to be launched in the CIS. This was announced in Minsk at the opening of the IV Belarusian-Russian Tourism Congress. A Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was also signed on the sidelines of the forum between the Economy Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee and the Moscow Tourism Committee. Minsk is one of the most popular destinations for Russians. According to hotel booking statistics alone, in 2025, approximately 700.000 of the 1 million available beds were for Russians.
