The Belarusian government forecasts the GDP growth at 1.1% in 2018, First Vice Premier Vasily Matyushevsky said when speaking at the joint session of the Belarusian parliament. According to him, the government is currently working on the forecast of the country's socio-economic development in 2018 and on the fundamental parameters by 2020. Today the sixth-convocation House of Representatives completes its second session. The MPs will continue boosting Belarus’ international image. In particular, preparations for and the organization of the 26th summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe give Belarus an opportunity to confirm its reputation as a reliable dialogue platform fit for discussing most sensitive issues.
