The Belarusian and Russian military forces are beginning the drills before West-2017

The Belarusian and Russian military forces are beginning the drills for the forces of the rear and technical security system. The drills are held ahead of the West-2017 strategic exercises. There will be held a special joint exercise involving military command and control agencies, as well as military units and organizations of the rear and technical support. The West-2017 Joint Strategic Exercises of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia will be held on 14—21 September. More than 80 international observers will visit the exercises.
