Teacher of the Year competition starts in Belarus

The Teacher of the Year competition starts in Belarus. The finals will feature the best 56 teachers from all over the country who won the regionals. Among the participants are 42 women and 14 men, all with higher education. The average age of the contestants this year is 39 years, the average length of service is 16 years. The program includes self-presentation of participants, lessons in an unfamiliar class, master classes. The name of the best teacher will be announced on October 2, on the eve of the professional holiday – the Teacher's Day. The winner, in addition to the honorary title, will receive the main prize – a car.
